I’m simply distracted.

Last Christmas Boo! got me Oblivion and Tomb Raider Legend. Oblivion is so captivating that I haven’t even taken the plastic off of Tomb Raider until yesterday. Granted, I haven’t been playing Oblivion every day. I’ve gone for months without playing it, but I’ve taken it back up again. My character, a Dark Elf, is happily plundering Ayleid ruins for artifacts.

Of course, Halo 3 recently came out and I had to help Scott play it. Perhaps not as much fun as Gears of War. But co-op is fun! Of course, if had had played Halo and Halo 2 all the way through, then the story would have probably made more sense.

What was really funny was trying to get used to the controls. In Oblivion I push “Y” to jump, but “A” in Halo 3. So the for the first five minutes of Halo I kept swapping my weapons instead of jumping. I also had the urge to check out every box to see what was inside. You can’t do that in Halo. Of course now that I’ve switched back, I’m having trouble going back to the old controls.

I’ll get back to blogging. I need to re-size more photos and get more stuff up about the honeymoon. But maybe I’ll explore one more ruin first…
